Add me to the group that thinks the comment:
"In another season, perhaps, this good-looking, amiable production would be a must-have ticket" by Ben Brantley keeps his review from being a pan.

Can anyone say that a "must-have ticket" in even the worst Broadway season would be something you'd want to avoid? Huh? And if a musical is "good looking and amiable" -- well, isn't that enough for a pleasant evening of musical theatre? Add in a few of the other favorable comments, take it all with a small grain of salt, and his review makes me WANT to see the show.

I agree, Patash. In the past three months, I've gone from having zero interest in this show to really looking forward to it, and the reviews have done nothing to dissuade me from that feeling. If anything, they've made me curiouser.
