That's what I was wondering myself since it didn't say in the article. I'd also like to know how Lea, Anika, Diana, etc. were.

Pictures from it are here

The show last night was fantastic. To a packed house, both Lea Salonga and Anika Noni Rose sung songs that are going to be the theme of the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks display. Lea’s song was called “Just Beyond The Dream” and Anika’s song was called “In Our Children’s Eyes” Both young ladies were terrific and their amazing voices were backed up by The New York Pops Orchestra.

Diana DeGarmo sung “Breaking Up Is Hard To Do” during the tribute to Neil Sedaka. Growing up in that era, I expected that Diana would sing the original rock-n-roll version. I was so wrong. Diana sung “Breaking Up Is Hard To Do” as a ballad. In a soft heartfelt tone, Diana held the Carnegie Hall audience in the palm of her hand.

On this special night, all three young ladies, Diana and Anika in their Carnegie Hall debut and Lea, did themselves proud and the audience showed them their appreciation for very special performances.

"Well! I've often seen a cat without a grin," thought Alice; "but a grin without a cat! It's the most curious thing I ever saw in all my life."

In my opinion, and most of the people in the audience would agree with me based on the applause given the performers, Lea Salonga gave the best performance of the night. Sometimes it is hard to "sell" a song that no one has heard before, but Lea simply wowed the audience. Her voice was crystal clear, and you could actually understand the lyrics. She connected with the audience, too. Michael Cavanaugh, who opened the evening with "New York State Of Mind" was excellent. Anika, talented Ms. Rose, sang her heart out, and boy was she marvelous! Diana DeGarmo was gorgeous and sang very well, too.

The woman, introduced as a grandaughter of the owner of the Yankees, sang Defying Gravity! Her performance would be the perfect demostration of how NOT to sing! She yelled every note, every word, and it was very, very painful to listen to her! She had vocal power, alright, but she did NOT know how to control it or use the microphone properly! I saw many people cringe and actually cover their ears as she sang. Bad, bad, bad singer!

Diana's performance of "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do" is up on her myspace web site. Diana sounded and looked absolutely beautiful.
