I’m not sure if this tweet is in reference to a press release for “Hair”. Diana might be alluding to a big event that she mentioned, in the past, that she has going on in Nashville

If Diana doen't play Sheila, than I agree with NPHCreel that Diana's voice will be wasted. "Easy to be Hard" is a perfect song for Diana. As Sheila, I think Diana will suprise us with her acting as she suprised us with her comedic prowess as Penny.

I'm just hoping that Ace's voice has gotten better over the years but at least he is eye candy.

I saw the final performance of "The Toxic Avenger" last night.

The final show was a sell out and the audience was almost entirely made of “Toxie” regulars. The audience was so exuberant that each actor received a very welcoming round of applauds as they appeared on stage for the first time. Also, at times, the audiences laughter and applauds overshadowed the cast lines and the songs lyrics. Building on the audience's reactions the cast began to accentuate their performances even

I think real teenagers could make the show work better. NOT Diana DeGarmo schmacting like a "bad girl". - Fairies could you please expound on that statement.

Famebroadway2 – Could you please give us you insight on the actors' performances

re: The Official Diana DeGarmo Love Thread

For me, Diana LOVE began with the first song I hear her sing on AI ("I’ve Got The Music in Me"). I did not see Diana's first equity show, WSS, but I did get to hear her rendition of "Somewhere". Diana's soprano is absolutely amazing and from that moment on I knew there was nothing she could not sing. But with "Hairspray" and "The Toxic Avenger" I realized that she also had a flair for being a naturally gifted comedic actor. Diana also had terrific vocal performances in "Brooklyn", "Joseph"

The stage door situation is no problem. Your younger sister will have an excellent opportunity to meet Diana. Diana is quite cordial to her fans in taking pictures and signing autographs. The stage door is downstairs by the theater (Stage 1).

Just saw "The Toxic Avenger" for the second time and Nick Cordero was not there. But I was treated to Jason Wooten?s rendition of Toxie. I would imagine that Jason and Diana weren?t on stage too many times together but they had really good chemistry. Their duet of "Hot Toxic Love" was excellent. Jason has a great voice and stage presence. Diana has really made Sarah her own by becoming very comfortable with all the nuances of the role. Her fa

I'm sure that playing Sarah takes a little more time than 9 days of rehersal and 3 weeks of performances to perfect. I would imagine that Diana also feels that her performance is a work in process in becoming more comfortable with the nuances of performing sight gags as a blind character.

As with Penny, Diana continued to grow into the roll to where she arguably became the top 2 actors to play that part.

"The Toxic Avenger" Wed. Aug 19th was a virtual sell out.

First time seeing the show and I really loved it. The humor was right up my ally.

Diana's Penny was amazing but Diana's Sarah is amazing squared. Diana all the necessary assets and comedic skill to play a very sexy Sarah besides a singing voice that blows people away. Diana especially rocked "My Big French Boyfriend" when she hit one of her famous long note at the end of the song. With Diana being in the cast unti

Bacharach and David's many hits include "Don't Make Me Over," "Anyone Who Had a Heart," "Walk On By," "Message to Michael," "Trains and Boats and Planes," "I Say a Little Prayer," "Alfie," "Do You Know the Way to San Jose," "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head," "What's New Pussycat," "Wives and Lovers," "Always Something there to Remind Me," "Promises, Promises," and "I'll Never Fall in Love Again," all of which are heard in the show.

Most of these songs have been major hits for Dionne W

HAPPY 5TH ANNIVERSARY!!

It looks like its going to be a fantastic celebration. I'm happy that Diana DeGarmo is going to be there. I hope Diana realizes how much she misses Broaday and returns sooner than later.

re: Diana Degarmo's stalker sentenced

The sentencing of Diana’s hacker is a travesty of the law. Blackmail, credit card theft, identity theft, and death threats meant nothing to the judge. Tanya gave Diana a harsher sentence then the judge gave Tanya.

The show last night was fantastic. To a packed house, both Lea Salonga and Anika Noni Rose sung songs that are going to be the theme of the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks display. Lea’s song was called “Just Beyond The Dream” and Anika’s song was called “In Our Children’s Eyes” Both young ladies were terrific and their amazing voices were backed up by The New York Pops Orchestra.

Diana DeGarmo sung “Breaking Up Is Hard To Do” during the tribute to Neil Sedaka. Grow

Additional information, on the New York Pops Gala has just been offered in a Broadwayworld article.

Guest artists on the gala concert include the Tony-nominated star of Movin' Out, singer and pianist Michael Cavanaugh, in his Carnegie Hall debut. He will open the concert with a new arrangement of Billy Joel's "New York State of Mind." A hit in "American Idol"'s third season and in Broadway's Hairspray, Diana DeGarmo will make her Carnegie Hall bow with the Neil Sedaka hit "Breaking Up is Hard To Do." Five-time Grammy winner and contemporary Christian music star Sandi Patty will honor our nation with "God Bless America."

A Tony winner for her role in Caroline, or Change who was most recently seen in the film adaptation of Dreamgirls, Anika Noni Rose will make her Carnegie Hall debut singing "In Our Children's Eyes," which she will also perform with The New York Pops for the 2007 edition of the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks. Another Tony winner, Lea Salonga - who won for Miss Saigon and is currently starring on Broadway as Fantine in Les Miserables - will also join the gala celebration. A third Tony winner rounds out the list of guest artists appearing: John Lloyd Young, star of Broadway's Jersey Boys, will join the Young People's Chorus of New York City under the direction of Francisco Nunez in an new version of "What A Wonderful World," which they will also perform with The New York Pops for the 2007 Macy's 4th of July Fireworks.

The legendary Grammy-winning singer and entertainer Keely Smith has just joined the concert at the invitation of Neil Sedaka to perform his 1980 hit "Should've Never Let You Go."

Another singer making her Carnegie Hall debut is Haley Swindal, currently studying at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holder of the prestigious Morehead Scholarship. She is not the first person in her family to debut at Carnegie Hall: her grandfather, Yankees owner George Steinbrenner, conducted The New York Pops in 1986.

I would of loved to hear Diana sing "Where the Boys Are" but I'm equally as happy to here her sing my favorite Neil Sedaka song, "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do".

I heard that Diana DeGarmo sang during the wedding in the “Hairspray” Skit. I would appreciate it if someone can tell me what song Diana sang.
