NY catering jobs

Can anyone recommend any good companies or websites to look at for catering jobs in the city?

Restaurant Associates is one of the biggest. They tend to hire in the beginning and toward the end of the year (before their busiest seasons). They pay $19.50 per hour with a guarantee of getting a minimum of 5 hours pay (so if you were to work a two hour shift, you'd get paid for 5 hours).

It is a very large, corporate catering company- employees are seen as interchangable.

I have a friend who worked for Great Performances Catering in the 1990s. Most of their employees were aspiring actors, writers, directors, musicians, etc. I don't know if the company is still around. You could do a Google search. I know catering companies have a high turnover rate so you shouldn't have a problem finding a job.
