So if you're in NYC and get NY1, which one do you plan on watching?
I plan on watching NY1, bc they're going to replay the TV guide channel coverage on Monday night at 9.
Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks for sharing...makes my decision that much easier...
Neither,
I plan on skipping everything this year.
you're welcome, Madame X :)

I have satellite (DirecTV w/ TiVo) therefore, I do not get NY1, so I'm TiVoing every single program that has to do with the Tonys on Sunday except that one. (Breakfast with the Arts, On the Aisle of the Tonys, TV Guide at the Red Carpet of the Tonys, The 59th Annual Tony Awards.)
What's On the Aisle w/ the Tonys?
From what I can gather, the tv sched looks like this:
Sun 6/5:
8-10am - Breakfast w/ the Arts - A&E
12-1pm - WCBS Tony Preview (ch2 - New York area only)
6:30-8pm - NY1 Tony Red Carpet
7-8pm - First 9 awards presented on tonyawards.com
7-8pm - TV Guide Tony Red Carpet
8-11pm - TONY AWARDS
Mon 6/6:
9-10pm - TV Guide Tony Red Carpet repeat
Anything else to add?
Went to A&E's website and they are only showing Breakfast on Broadway at 8:00am on Sunday. They have This Old House listed for Saturday at 8:00am and other shows for 2 hours.
Thanks - I must've written it down wrong. Edited message above.
No problem! Wish I could watch NY-1 but will settle for the TV Guide channel and A&E.

Why are the first nine Tonys separate from the others?
I guess they think the national audience won't be interested in orchestration, lighting, costumes, sets, regional awards, and the lifetime achievement award. So weird that the lifetime achievement award doesn't make it to network tv.
