oh good point. I thought i used to hear about things quicker. Like when trailer park moved. Seemed like it was announced the next month.

Well, yeah, some of them are quicker, but think about how long Next to Normal took. Or the shows from two or three years ago that are still getting workshops that will hopefully lead to productions. So just because we aren't hearing anything right away doesn't mean nothing will happen.

most readings (a least like that one) end up being "industry only" so you have to be industry affiliated to snag an invite... they dont generally want the viewing public, they want people who will help back their production to move ti forward

I am going to the reading tomorrow. Can't wait to see what they have done with it. Jeff McCarthy was amazing in Urinetown.
