I just want everyone to know that I did NOT conduct the interview in the nude--even though I wanted to! RobD strictly enjoined me to stay fully clothed.

Don't you think it could have been groundbreaking? A full-frontal interview on BWW?
Oh absolutely....wonder if he would've objected if you were built like Pamela Anderson...and were a woman!

Perhaps when I finally get to interview Loretta Swit, Rob will let me go full frontal!

Phil Simmons is a gr8 guy. Had no idea he was a Naked Boy singing. That's wonderful. I Worked with him years ago. :)
Heavens! As long as Loretta Swit is fully clothed.

Excuse me, what's the purpose of doing a full frontal interview if all parties oncerned aren't in the buff? It's the latest trend in journalism.
Great article, as always, very well written. Insightful, entertaining and funny all rolled into one. Keep those articles going!!! It makes you want to see the show. Who is the hottie in the middle of the three performers. You should have taken a nudie photo.

Oh, Broadwaylady....you jest!
No one wants to see me barechested! My torso looks like Birnam Wood!

Birman Wood--the forest that walks up Dunsinan Hill in MACBETH. It fulfills one of the witches' prophecies.
NBS is a great show. Those boys really work their asses off, if you know what I mean! HAHA

Yes, the Naked Boys do work harder than most performers on Broadway. I don't think there's another show running in NYC that has as much ensemble work.
It's distressing that their salary in the show isn't even enough to pay the bills, that most of them need a second job. These guys must work hard: they sing, dance, act, and in the nude at that. Why won't the producers pay them more?

Their salaries are determined by the contracts they are working under. Theater Four seats less than 200 people and that factors into the salaries they receive. It seems that the larger their venue, the higher their salaries.

Dollypop... Dollypop...
Oh Dolly, Dolly, Dolly
Dolly POP!
Ba dum bum bum
(sorry. felt the need.)
Lovely interview.
I'm still confused as to why you were all fully clothed.
It seems horribly inappropriate.
I shall bombard RobD with complaintative PMs at once.
Censorship is wrong.

I'm really saving the nudity for my interview with Loretta Swit. Imagine the headline: "HOT LIPS GOES FULL FRONTAL"
Remind me to not look at the pictures.

Oh, ~FF~, you're being a silly goose! This could start a trend! You can only imagine how the world will react to naked interviews with the likes of Sally Struthers, Marcia Lewis, Joe Pesci, Rea Perlman, Estelle Parsons, Jerry Orbach...and the afore-mentioned Loretta Swit.
Remember, scintillating conversation is the key element here!
