"Naked Boys Singing" Question

This is probably a REALLY dumb question... but is there an age limit to attend this show??? I checked the website, and it didn't say anything about being 18 or older to enter.....

It's not really anything great. I only paid $35 or so, but even that wasn't worth it. It's funny, but gets old after the first number, none of the men are attractive, and all the women in there are drunk because they just came from a bar or something, and they scream the entire show. If you want to see male nudity, rent a porn or something but the show really isn't that great.

I think a lot of the guys I've seen who've been in the show are exceptionally beautiful. I like a lot of the songs too so I'd imagine if I were to see the show I'd enjoy it, but what can I say? point me towards nudity and I'm bound to enjoy myself....

I was in the Chicago production, but I don't recall there being an age limit. As for the attactiveness of the cast, there was a variety of hunks and non-hunks in our show, but the show is not about "being hot" nor is it required of the entire cast. It's about gay men and their bodies. Only a couple of songs actually have anything to do with being attractive at all. When I first saw it, I thought it was delightful, clever and funny as did the majority of the audiences who saw us every night. The only song I felt didn't belong in the show was "Kris, Look What You Missed". It was the AIDS-related cliche that somehow has to be included in virtually anything gay on stage. The song is a real downer and when placed in the second act (after a scene where guys cruise each other in a steam room at the gym), it grinds everything to a sluggish crawl and makes the audience completely forget about the good time they were having. As a poignant and dramatic song, it works fairly well on its own, but is completely out of place in context of the show.

PS - I have been told by those who have seen the show in New York and Chicago that the Chicago staging and choreography were better. I'm not bragging, I'm just saying...

Click the link for info on the Chicago production and a VIDEO CLIP (actually, they're lip-syncing to the CD). I was on a video clip and commercial a couple of years ago, but it's gone now. The soloist, Scott, in the middle of the song is a HUGE talent in many ways and absolutely adorable and charming. His performance alone is worth the price of admission.

well, it is a celebration of male nudity. god knows in "mainstream" America male nudity is something that one sees very little of, but it's a gay show... c'mon now...

you're happy that you never have to do it again??? I WANT to do it. it seems like so much fun. but, I'm just perverted...

I did the show to get rid of some inhibitions. It helped....when I got back to auditions, I felt like there wasnt anything I couldnt do...

that's a MAJOR reason why I want to do it. I've been on and off prescription pills for social anxiety for so long that to run out on stage completely naked and sing a song would be such a needed push for me right now. I know it sounds cheesy, but yeah, I really wanna do it...
