When Napoleon draws the picture of Trisha, he could sing a song that could be his "Finishing the Hat." And maybe, just before Pedro does his speech when he pretty much knows he's going to lose, a little "Pedro's Turn" type song.

I would totally see that!
Deb should have some songs, too!

"This is what I trained to do, and this is what I love about theater. What I love about being an actress is being able to really look into myself and understand another human being. And out my own self, to shape and form and fashion a real human being--and to present that in such a way that people see something of themselves or their own understanding in that human being." --Phylicia Rashad

as much as I love napoleon dynamite, this would not work. ever. How about just a concert of Kip, featuring: Always and Forever.

As sweet as that would be, don't mess with perfection. That's how bad remakes happen.

So now you've met the court of 364, and if you ever wish to come...don't.

Oh, come on! Imagine how great it would be, an ensemble of dancers breaking it down: NAPOLEON STYLE. haha.

i'm so glad there are more people out there love this movie... i saw it twice in the theater and have watched it almost every day since it came out on DVD... one of my favorite lines...

I see you're drinking 1% milk. Is that 'cause you think you're fat, 'cause you're not? You could be drinking whole milk.

HAHAHAHAH! GOD BLESS NAPOLEON DYNAMITE!

"Finishing the upper lip...
How you have to finish the shading of the upper lip..."

...and Pedro's big number,
"Build her a cake!"

I don't think that anything, as much as I LOVE Broadway, could do justice to the movie if it was ever re-made. Napoleon Dynamite is a hilarious movie, and I think that the actor who played him in the movie would HAVE to be in the show version, but I think if it ever somehow did get to Broadway it would close quickly because there's not such a big age-wise audience dying to see Napoleon. Maybe 25 and under, if they're lucky, would go to see it, but I think that it should just be left as the movie version. I mean, I'd love to see it performed live with songs with the entire movie cast, but I mean, hey, what's the chance that's going to happen?

And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.

i would just love to see the dancing at the end live! Now that would be great!

"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!
