Ha, my brother seems to make quite an impression most places...I'm sorry for the cheesy story in the complete wrong thread, but I lost self control!! Thank you again
And on a related topic, I completely agree with you. While the talent in non-equity tours may be fabulous, the shows themselves often leave something to be desired. I saw the non-equity of Rent also this summer (but I believe with a different cast that is now touring) and it was a little disappointing. A couple great stand out performances, but overall mediocre. I am all for building up experience and so on through non equity productions, but I don't think that it can be argued, that in general Equity productions are of a much higher calliber (sorry just my opinion)
And in defense of the current non-equity cast of RENT quite a few of them already have enough hours to join equity, but deliberately didn't join in order to do this tour.
who? (i'm guessing the Triple Entente.
Am I right?)
I don't have names. It's just stuff that was discused at the stage door. I'm guessing Andy, Danny maybe Ava and for sure Damien, cuz' he's been with this tour for a while even prior as an understudy... even Casey the hottie on guitar has done a lot of theatre work. He may be able to join that equity orchestra cult if he wanted to... Updated On: 10/15/04 at 01:59 AM

I believe I saw Damien, I might be wrong though, and he was phenomenal. The Collins I saw was very good as well, but the rest of them were just kinda ok, but I think the tour has changed casts since I saw it?
Yep. If you didn't see Dan Rosenbaum, Andy Meeks, Ava and Damien you missed out. These guys are great together... Updated On: 10/15/04 at 02:06 AM

I always seem too..you know its not good when the crazed (and I say that in an endearing way) fan next to you who believes he is Marc Cohen, acts and sings better than the actor on stage.
Yes! Marcus is the best! Ugh... I loved him. And Adrienne Fishe as Joanne! Yowza! Her voice is just great! One of the best for Joanne... and of course my little Danny Calvert. I still wanna be a fence so bad...

Millie, I said in the other thread when you asked me about Evita that it should be up soon...
