re: National Tours to Start Next Year

So there will be a third tour of Jersey Boys going? If so three touring companies out at once while not unheard of, is impressive.

AFAIK it's 1NT, 2NT and Vegas -- the latter won't tour. So there will be 3 companies in the US, but not 3 tours. Or 4 companies if you count Broadway. re: National Tours to Start Next Year

re: National Tours to Start Next Year

"whats the chance of a 18 year old getting a gig in a tour?"

Well, if you are a very talented EQUITY 18 year old actor, then your chances are higher than most. Equity actors typically maintain a string of shows along with great experience to become members, though the question you've asked is rather general; so many different factors can depend on getting cast in a show.

"How do you guys know where these shows are touring? I went to the site but I didn't see any cities.. Just the names of the show.. "

Often times these announcements can be found here at Broadwayworld.com, playbill.com, or even broadway.com. Usually a general time of year is given, nothing too specific until the tour draws nearer.

I didn't know Wedding Singer was going to be non-equity. Does anyone know of any changes they are making?

Lizzie- Jersey Boys is going to be launching another tour this year in addition to the two tours, vegas, london, and broadway. The only difference with this one is that if they decide not to make it a tour it will be a sit-down.

TapTapTapioca, are you talking about Jersey Boys stint in Toronto? I've read things that are hinting they will be casting another company for Toronto but nothing official.
