Quick question for anyone who knows about the partial view seating at the Nederlander. I know they are pretty bad, as I've read in past posts from the seats for Newsies, but if one was to buy them which row would be the best: B C D E F G or H. I know it will be completely different for "Honeymoon In Vegas" then "Newsies" but was just curious if one row was better then others.

Just don' sit in that end sea right around row D. It is literally tilted sideways and the was a speaker blocking part of my view of stage right. I was actually in a lot of pain after the show.

Does anyone have any other input on the partial view orchestra seats in the rows described by the OP? I recall that some posters here thought they were horrible for Newsies, but I wasn't sure if that was a production-specific problem.

I sat somewhere around row B at the very end for Newsies and it was pretty bad because of the towers they used for the set...half the time I couldn't see much of anything at all. I don't know what the set for Honeymoon in Vegas is like, but if there's anything taller than an average person toward the front of the stage it would likely block your view quite a bit. I'm usually not one to complain about partial view seats because they honestly generally aren't that bad but they were very, very bad for Newsies.

Thanks, perfectlymarvelous. That helps. In that case, until we hear more about the physical production of Honeymoon at the Nederlander I'll avoid them.

Any updates after the first preview? How are the far side orchestra seats? Thanks!

Just wondering if anyone had an opinion to share on these seats now that previews have been going on for a few weeks. Any thoughts?

Saw the show yesterday via tix4students (all their seats are the last two in the first five rows). Sat in the last seat on the left in the front row & it had its pro's & con's.

It's so far to the side that you can't see any of the upstage backdrops, 80% of the orchestra is cut off (they're on stage. I'd say similar to Chicago but I didn't see 80% of them so it's hard to say). A few angles were tough- set pieces blocking the action, etc.
I mean it was exciting to be so close but ultimately I'd say spend a bit more money and sit more center and don't take these seats.

Anybody seen War Paint from far sides in the first few rows? How's the view?
