Need Scarlet Pimpernel Flier ideas - URGENT

Hi guys.

I don't suppose anyone out there is an artist or computer whizz?

I'm trying to put together our flier for The Scarlet Pimpernel at the moment (almost beginning to wish I'd never taken on publicity - there's now no getting away from the demmed show & concentrating on our current one so my stomach's already churning at the prospect of auditioning for, and not getting, Marguerite). I'd found what we thought was the perfect picture - this one attached.

But it won't enlarge to A5 properly - it goes all pixelated! Is there any computer graphics whizz who can tell me how to enlarge it without losing the clarity of the image?

Can anyone come up with any other ideas? I want something fairly simple, as there'll be a lot of writing on the fliers, but very evocative. Alternatively, is there any wonderful artist person amongst us who can design an image for me?

I've scoured the internet (searching under Scarlet Pimpernel and Guillotine), but no joy - I can't take images from previous shows - really I wanted to come up with something original myself - and I don't want to break copyright.

Really, really desperate, as I MUST have this done by the end of next week!!!!

No, Cats - I want an original idea - as in "one that hasn't been used before" to publicise MY group's production of the show - not an image used by another company to publicise THEIR show. I already have the official logo which comes with the contract - I now need a background image for the fliers. (Obviously the image doesn't have to have been created from scratch for the fliers - I don't have time for that & the printers charge a fortune for originating artwork. I mean, a completely new image would be idea, but I'm not an artist and don't know anyone who is so time and money are against me there) As I said, I can't use images from other shows & I REALLY don't want to breach copyright. (Strangely enough, my committee is averse to being sued). But it needs to be REALLY simple (at least in the centre) because there'll be writing over it (where, when, how to book tickets etc). I'd have loved to use the guillotine image that's used on the back of the sheet music - in fact I even emailed to ask about permission for using it - but though I've not heard back yet I'm certain the answer will be "no".

the.hard.part - thanks for having a go at that image, but I need it to be less blocky - eventually it will have to be enlarged to A4 or A3 for posters so it will get too distorted.

How about something with a guillotine silhouette in the background? Maybe add like a background type thing on this image, and then you can write on top of it? If you want me to work on something, PM me (I have no life and its Spring Break lol)

this is just an idea...if you have a better picture of the guillotine let me know...i'd also like to add I know nothing about the show so I apologize if this is totally off track...
