I need help from our London members. Can someone send me any information on the Boney M musical that's supposedly going to be mounted soon in the West End? I believe it's called "Daddy Cool".

Most Americans have never heard of Boney M and I'm sure most of the UK folks on this board will want to run away screaming from such a show. I am coming out of the closet as a Boney M devotee and would enjoy any information, even if you think a Boney M musical is heresy.

Thank you!

I can't help you with this, sorry. I'm not so sure I want to be able to though. Agadoo? Gross.

As I mentioned in my post, I know that most of the UK people on the board wouldn't see this if someone paid them. However, any information would be appreciated. It is my undrestanding the show will be called "Daddy Cool", will be hitting the West End in 2006, and will be produced by Cameron Macintosh's brother.

I know all you theatre snobs out there can't stand jukebox musicals but they're here to stay. I'm for one waiting for the US Premiere of "Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others", the Smiths jukebox musical. I'd rather see a jukebox musical such as "Mamma Mia" or "All Shook Up" any day than sit through a musical such as "Little Women" with forgettable songs.
