Need help planning trip with my daughter

I'm planning to take my 8 year old daughter to NYC this summer to see a few shows and experience NYC. I'm definitely taking her to see HOW TO SUCCEED...but need some advice picking two other shows. She has quite a little "crush" on Aaron Tveit (isn't she too young for that?!), and she loves HAIRSPRAY, so I was wondering about CATCH ME IF YOU CAN?? I realize it's been reworked since Seattle, but for those of you at all familiar with it I'm curious to know if it's just "too adult" of a show. I expect sexual themes will essentially go over her head, unless that stuff is rather explicit. I also remember folks mentioning the "f-bomb" being used quite a bit??

Other shows I'm looking at are SISTER ACT and ANYTHING GOES. Any input and advice is appreciated! Thanks!

I don't think their is anything that is inappropriate in CATCH ME. Anything that is to adult will go over her head. Plus the demo songs were great. SISTER ACT will be completely PG although I saw it in London and unless it's changed a lot (which it may have, since their is a new book writer and new director) I would go with CATCH ME. ANYTHING GOES is a classic.

And if you want to try a straight play that is appropriate for a young kid, I would probably recommend WAR HORSE.

I appreciate the input! I hadn't thought about a straight play, but will definitely give WAR HORSE consideration.

I'd suggest Wonderland - I saw the show recently in Tampa and think that you might both enjoy this update on the Alice in Wonderland story. They're tweaking the show in rehearsals now (the book needs some work), but the musical numbers are great.
