While I'm sure NPH will do another terrific job, Colbert is an inspired choice. Colbert and Audra could recreate their duet from her appearance on his show.

Enough already with NPH. IMHO Hugh Jackman has the best combo of talent, charisma and gravitas, but he was obviously not a viable candidate as he's busy filming back-to-back movies. Harris is talented, but I'm a little tired of a mature man acting like the perpetual adolescent. Why not some fresh blood with a big following, such as Ricky Martin? Or someone who oozes stature like James Earl Jones? He could at least introduce the musical numbers well.

Ugh. This show needs energy and NPH's ironic smarm has worn out its welcome. Kathy Griffin or GTFO.

I actually was hoping Harris and Jackman would co-host, then I realized the filming schedule for Les Mis might not allow that.

The two of them were pretty funny together last year when they did some routine together.

Neil Patrick Harris did an excellent job last year, improving on what he had done the first time round. If he keeps it, then I have no problem with seeing him host the show again.

While NPH will be an amazing host I was really hoping for someone different. I was really hoping for a Whoopi return the year she hosted was the best telecast in recent memory IMO

NPH would be a great host again, just as he was prior. I have to say, I'd rather that the Tonys stick to a successful host rather than flop in their attempts to pander to a younger crowd or pander to an older crowd, as the Oscars did the last two years to dismal results.

Ditto. I don't know how NPH will top last year's opening, but at least we know he will try.
