"It had been circling around the Great White Way for over ten years, and was supposed to feature holograms and software that allowed audience members to interact with the set from their smartphones."
...um, what?
Everything about this production was so apparently misguided from day one. An expensive, last minute production of a show that had been bouncing around for a decade with limited success and no buzz, cast with no major names by even Broadway standards, and featured nearly no marketing. What couldn't go wrong?
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
