Does anyone know anythign about the Never Gonna Dance promo cd? Does it feature the actual cast singing, or is it stock/generic songs/singers?

Someone told me it wasn't the cast of the show, but I'm not 100% sure. I don't think it is.

No, it's not the cast. Smart on their part, because had they send out the CD of the actual cast singing, no one would have bought tickets. It wasn't until Broadway on Broadway that the world discovered that the leads in in that show cannot sing.

all I ever saw of this show was their performance on the macy's thanksgiving day parade and I thought the song and the dancing was delightful. I can't recall offhand how the singing was but I don't remember being appalled by the performance at all. I probably would have liked the show had I gotten to see it...
