New "Grey Gardens" marketing
re: New 'Grey Gardens' marketing#25
Posted: 6/7/07 at 9:33amI really like it! What I like even more is that the press people have the presence of mind to realize that their previous ad strategy had run its course and come up with something new. Unlike those of a certain other show that up until a few months ago had similar attendance figures.

Posted: 6/7/07 at 12:00pmSaw the bus yesterday and loved it! I walked all over times square and I still can't find any tabloid ads. If anyone is there and can pick up a few extra I would really appreciate it! Please!!!

Posted: 6/7/07 at 1:48pmThey now need to do something about HOW they distribute those flyers. The people doing it haven't seen the show in many cases and don't know anything about it. I walked by TKTS one afternoon to hear one of them tell a customer it was about Jackie Kennedy. Not a good situation. They need to train the people doing the distributing, too. They aren't as skillful as they could be. (And for pete's sake, come over to the east 40s where those carts are set up and see about leaving flyers there. Geez-the wealthy buisness people and tourists in this area, where I work, would possibly go for this.)

Posted: 6/7/07 at 1:51pmI liked the classier look better; however, the tabloid look is more effective because it sticks right out and slaps you right in the face! Not literally of course.

Reminds me of the Bat Boy ads...of course Bat Boy came straight from a series of tabloid stories, so they had a lot of cool twists on the tabloid theme in their marketing.
