Israel's Cameri Theater has opened a new israeli production of FIddler on the roof. (in Hebrew Obviousely)

I have an Israeli cast album of this show. Its one I'd really love to see in Hebrew.

Sounds good. It's not obvious that it would be Hebrew. They did a Yiddish production in the 1960's. You can order it from KlezCorner. I really want it. Wait, did they close "Producers"?

the producers has finished its run. yes.

Yossi Bin Nun, renowned Israeli theater composer has been Musical Director for both shows.

btw- new Israeli productions of both Joseph and Grease are on the way.
and i heard rumor that the rights for Spring awakening have been purchased by one of israel's smaller rep theaters.

No, the Myspace site for Spring Awakening says Tel Aviv is in the works. They announced the Israeli production in May 2007. I really hope that some REALLY extreme Orthodox don't picket against it (I'm Orthodox, but Modern Orthodox, not that far). Didn't they boycott a show a while ago? Or was that Madonna's Jerusalem concert. I'm surprised Avenue Q had no problems.
