New Cast albums to look forward to

Well, now that the Grammy's are done, I thought it might be nice to ponder the upcoming releases that are sure to be out by the end of summer:

Ring of Fire
See What I Wanna See
Tarzan
Wedding Singer
Lestat
Drowsy Chaperone
Threepenny Opera
Pajama Game
?Hot Feet
?Bernarda Alba
Dracula (studio)
PS Classics Jule Styne Hollywood
AND...
solo albums by Patti LuPone and Julia Murney.

As someone who has to wait for things to tour, I personally cannot wait to get my hands on these new CDs. did I miss any?
What are you looking most forward to?

Does anyone know what is going to be included on the Jule Styne album?

Also, don't forget Gavin Creel!
MassOfMen on 5/17/07: "and lastly, I have no vested interest in LB. I have seen the show, I paid my money (a lot of money for that tix) I didn't watch it on a bootleg, yes I saw the flesh and bone of the people up there working their tails off. But do I really have to explain myself to you? are you the judge jury and executioner of Bwyworld.com message board? no. But I digress, I will leave this subject as I am bored of the rebuttals anyway, and go back to "wasting my time" with the job of building buildings. We have chat boards for architects as well, ya know."

And don't forget Jekyll and Hyde Resurrection!

And no, not all of these productions have announced a cast recording. SWIWS, Dracula, the Jules Styne, Julia Murney's and Patti's have all been announced, as has Pajama Game (I believe - I'd find it hard to believe Connick, Jr won't allow it to not be recorded). Tarzan will get done (it's Disney, afterall). LaChuisa's scores always get done, so look for Bernarda Alba. As for the others, it's still unknown. I hope they all get recorded (and I hope I have the money to get them...)!

re: New Cast albums to look forward to

I'm slowly dying waiting for the "See What I Wanna See" recording.

Dying.

The Sh-k-boom site said pre-order to ship mid-Feb. - and I keep trying to tell myself that TODAY is NOT mid-Feb.

Mmm. Mary Testa.
Now what would you say if today I started over? Without a thing but this taped together four leaf clover And I'll pretend like everything is already alright And I'll run toward the sun till the castle's out of sight

Ring of Fire (not announced yet)

Tarzan (Disney did announce this)
Wedding Singer (not announced yet)
Lestat (not announced, but its Warner Bros/Elton John)
Drowsy Chaperone (not announced)
Threepenny Opera (not announced, but I bet PS Classics gets it)
Pajama Game (announced)

Sutton Foster's solo album?!?! I will be all over that! That's amazing. I am so excited for SWIWS. Gorgeous music and great performers. Can't go wrong.

Any word on whether or not I Love You Because is going to record an album? I've liked the few seconds of music I've heard so far.

WalveMave, i was wondering that too. I'm waiting for Ghostlight to pick it up. Seems like they would do that kinda show. I really like what I've heard on previews.

Isn't Michael Arden's solo Cd coming out this year? Hopefully by the end of summer?

re: New Cast albums to look forward to

Michael's cd has been supposedly coming out for about 6 months. Who knows the projected date of release? But I cannot wait!

Michael's debut CD fell through, last I heard. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see it back on track after Times Are A'Changin opens. I cannot wait to hear that album!
