New Dreamgirls Clip.....

There was a new Dreamgirls trailer that aired on BET Awards a few moments ago and it looked great! Did anyone see it? Beyonce' is looking better and better! This clip also named all the stars this time including Danny Glover and showed clips of all of them! I think Bill Condon is a marketing genius!

Marketing! Marketing! Marketing! They are definitely creating the right buzz with the right demographic. Hitting up the award shows (Tony Awards, BET Awards) is only the begining for this much anticipated Christmas relase. This may very well rival Condon's own, CHICAGO. 6 months and counting...

That trailer made me sooooo excited about the film. The over-music was One Night Only - The Deena version. Some new clips - One in a record store and some onstage footage.

yeah there was also a clip of someone busting inside a recording studio with a bat, and a clip of a love-making scene with Curtis and Deena! I got super hype!

It has a little awards footage so be patient. And I'm sure since this is just a promotional it's okay to have on here. If it isnt then delete it, whatever.

Yeah, that trailer was the best thing about the BET Awards this year. I can not wait until Christmas. I wanna see this movie so badly.

Doesn't seem to me that Effie's and Deena's singing will be too terribly different.

Cause Beyonce can, and does sing like Effie.

Sure, Hudson has a deep, soulful Gospel belt, but so does Beyonce, albeit a bit lighter.

I guess I'll wait and see how this is reconciled in the film.

At the very end of the clip, you hear Jennifer Hudson softly sing One Night Only...she sounds so beautiful from just those 5 seconds. Beyonce's accent does not sound cute on the disco version of One Night Only.
