There is an excellent recording of an European tour of EVITA with Florence Lacey (who is the best Evita I've seen out of 5 others. She was one of the last on Broadway). It was only released overseas, but I was able to get one. Well worth the trouble of finding it.
I think there's a typo...besides I dont think I can see its on Thursday...I cant drive to Springfield on weekdays...that's a hike...and I usually workout in the gym (Mon-Fri) to meet my friends, after work... That's I only see shows on the weekend..
I am pretty rigid with my daily schedule!
BTW- Tickets are $54. $43. $38 & $25. Oh well some other time then?
Well, that was misleading. It does tell you Symphony Hall in Boston at first.
Salve, Regina, Mater misericordiae
Vita, dulcedo, et spes nostra
Salve, Salve Regina
Ad te clamamus exsules filii Eva
Ad te suspiramus, gementes et flentes
O clemens O pia
I saw the U.S. tour back in November. If they have the same Eva, it will be an awful recording. The girl, not woman, who played Eva sounded like a disney princess. She made Eva look more like bratty girl than, excuse me if I offend anybody, a b@tch. Eva is supposed to become a strong woman, and this actress never gets her past 15. If they do make this cast recording, BEWARE.
