It IS awesome that there's going to be a new Frankel-Korie musical, but am I the only one who got excited that this might be some warped adaptation of Todd Solondz's 1998 film "Happiness"?
I too thought for a moment it was an adaptation of the movie Happiness. That would just signal the end of civilization, although such the project might make a terrific tongue-in-cheek Fringe Festival entry.
Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Susan Stroman will return to Lincoln Center, the home of her Tony-winning work Contact, to direct Happiness, which is about "a disparate group of New Yorkers caught on a subway train under unusual circumstances."
