New Mary Poppins?

Ive heard Scarlett Strallen will be the next Mary Poppins after Ashley Brown.
Is that true?

I hope they promote Megan Osterhaus, she was fantastic.

If anything they would promote Catherine Walker considering that she is the first standby/understudy and Megan is second. I don't think that they would bring Scarlet over to do the role.

I wish that Laura Michelle Kelly didn't have that falling out with Cameron and that she would come over and do the role on Broadway. Even if she did have a good relationship with CamMac I doubt that she would even come to Broadway at this point considering that she is taking a break from theatre work in London to work on her solo music.

Ive seen several actresses in London do the role and must say that Ms. Strallen was my favorite,, for what its worth.!

It is our very own Scarlett Strallen coming over to play Mary, your very lucky, she is far and away the best London Mary. Stunning performance, gorgeous looks and performance and one of the nicest and most graceful personalities, a true lady

I might be in minority but didn't like Ms Strallen's Mary one bit. Found her portrayal caricaturesque and damn too strict to be likeable.
Lisa O'Hare was the perfect choice for the role, hands down

Yeah, Scarlett played grim Mary but she expressed a hilarious side of Mary too. Other actors like Lisa or even LMK couldn't do that. Scarlett's dancing and acting were totally amazing. I really loved Mary in her way.

I am pretty much convinved that the new Poppins will be an American actress and not someone from the London production.

I hav to agree that Scarlett was a Grim Mary but had a fun side as well! And yes her dancing was amazing! Broadway would be REALLY lucky to have her cuz she's definitely not abit worse than LMK in anyway!
I would LOVE to see some production shots n videos of the UK Tour!!!
