New Music & Script for Reba McEntire in MOLLY BROWN?

Does anyone know who is writing new music and a new script for this? I haven't seen this reported anywhere yet but here.

I found one thread about Reba doing it, but nothing about their being new songs and a new script. Do you know who wrote those?

I don't understand. If they're going to retool the entire book and score of this show to make it fit Reba, then why don't they just write a whole new show that will better suit her in the first place?

PG2, based on what I saw, I can see what they mean by re-tooling it for Reba. As I sat there watching it (It was partially staged with a band, props and limited costumes) I kept thinking "They need to get Reba to play Molly".

What did the trunk songs sound like? Any standouts?
