Posted: 12/20/04 at 2:29pmI am just so sick of recycling old songs into musicals. Write some new music, JEsus Christ. It's just so tired I'm very turned off by it all...MAMMA MIA, MOVIN' OUT, ALL SHOOK UP, GOOD VIBRATIONS, NEVER GONNA DANCE, LENNON. It's too much. We need new music.

Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

O there was a musical like that already? Do you have any info on it?
I know what you mean about all these recycled songs getting annoying though, I really wish I could write something new...I'll keep trying.

I know these are all parts of other media outlets but why not get some excellent books and turn them into shows before the movies take them and mutilate them.
"The Five People You Meet In Heaven" would be cool.

I agree about the new music. I'm sick of these jukebox musicals. Then again, I'm not an ABBA, Beach Boys, Elvis, or Billy Joel fan, so the idea of hearing their music all over again totally turns me off.
However, I WOULD be into a Madonna musical...(insert cliche)
