Anyone looking to buy stage seats, good luck getting them if Broadway Across America is putting the show on in your city.
An angry email was sent to them by myself regarding stage seating (the regular tickets went on sale, the stage seats did not go on sale with them, I was told they would be, and then nobody knew anything about them) and was told that because the seats are so special, the producers prefer that they be sold to established group patrons first, and then to the public secondary, and then only if the public knows the rules. The curtain goes up in Seattle in about five weeks, and I still have no info on them. So, good luck :)

How sh*tty. You'd think group patrons would prefer house seats, anyway.

Stage seats are handled by each individual presenter. There are certain guidelines the producers put in place, but those guidelines are for when you can/can't get out of your seats, where to keep your personal belongings, etc... mostly safety things.
The selling of the stage seats, and how that is handled, is up to each presenter.
Not all Broadway Acrosss America cities will handle them the same way. Example, Costa Mesa is a BAA city and there anyone in the public can buy them.

For Orange County the stage seats were not sold online. I called the box office and was able to buy them over the phone, with them just reminding me of the rules. I politely told the box office representative that I had sat onstage on Broadway so he wouldn't have to do his whole speech. They also included the rules with my tickets.

Fair enough! The BAA rep. gave me the impression that it was for all BAA cities, but I guess it is only Seattle, or other theatres that choose to as well.
on a side note, does anyone know if the paramount in seattle gives out playbills, or another type of program?
They give out full sized programs, uh, I think called Encore? The 5th Ave gives out the same ones. I would rather them be Playbills, but they're actually nice programs compared to other touring cities.
The Encore programs are nice, but quite flimsy and hard to store.

tourboi - your link isn't working.
Saw the show tonight onstage!
It was my first time seeing the show live, and I loved it. Elizabeth Stanley was just great as Clio/Kira , as was Max Von Essen. At first, I was a little hesitant with Max's character voice, but it grew on me because unfortunately there are some Californians who talk that way.. not as strong as his, but I've met people that actually have it, just more toned down. And it just made everything he said more hilarious :)
Natasha Yvette Williams and Annie Golden cracked up the audience in every scene they were in. A few comments on Golden, when she first came on stage, I definitely thought she was too old.. but, on the contrary, she may look old, but she can move! Her energy was just on par with her younger colleagues.
Amazing show, I'm glad that the show was almost sold out :) I didn't expect to come out loving it as much as I did. Great time at the theater, I never stopped laughing, and I will be seeing it again in it's run here in CA.
Oh.. and I think Alli Mauzey was in the audience today..I might have seen her at stagedoor with Elizabeth Stanley.

Weird, it worked when I just clicked on it....
I saw this show last night and like FeelingElectric2 I absolutely LOVED it! I remember seeing that miserable movie, one of the worst movie musicals ever made and what a joy to find that it has been redeemed thanks to the genius of Douglas Beane. I can't believe how much I giggled and laughed and the audience absolutely adored it. The entire cast was excellent with Von Essen and Stanley pure musical comedy perfection. Annie Golden and Natasha Yvette Williams stole every scene they were in and their "Strange Magic" was the highlight of the show for me. I left on a high and can't wait to see it again on the 23rd on stage. After seeing it from Tier 1 I know just where I want to sit so I can be a part of the show. Anyone in Southern California should make sure they see this before it leaves because it won't be back to this area for quite awhile. For once OCPAC got a heads up over the Pantages and Ahmanson musical series. And as FeelingElectric 2 said it was nice to see almost a full house since the first two shows in this year's OCPAC season did not fare as well.
The show is great
too bad its BOMBING in cali
the sales are **** here....hundreds, HUNDREDS of open seats
hundreds, HUNDREDS
You crack me up!!!
Wicked Fanatic did you stgedoor? There were only like 5 of us so I may have seen another fellow BWW'er :)
I really do hope the show sells out like last nights show! It's a fun night for everyone, and the OCPAC is doing a great job advertising it for the kids, the mural, the walk on role, etc.
And by the way, if anyone cares. It WAS Alli Mauzey that I saw! Sad that I didn't get to talk to her. And if anyone cares, word on Twitter is that Steve Kazee and Megan Hilty will be there this Sat. Evening.

^Enjoyed your video Nikklis for the walk on role at OCPAC. Good luck!
And FeelingElectric2 I wasn't at stage door; don't even know where it is. If I wasn't going to be in Vegas on Saturday I'd go again just to see Megan and Steve. They were so good recently at the Boston Court's "Rated RSO".
