Wow. Great to see Patrick Wilson play a funny character. I thought he was great in "All My Sons" and in "Angels in America," so it will be fun to see him play such a different role. Good for him.

AAAAGH! Hahaha, that's hilarious! Especially since I still see Raoul from The Phantom of the Opera when I look at him. Well, I'm excited.

At last we are seeing press about this project. Woo Hoo!

During the run of "All My Sons", I asked Patrick about the facial hair choice for the character (I saw a couple of photos taken during filming.) He said it was HIS idea. Having read the book ("Life Is A Strange Place"), and now seeing the trailer I think it is a perfect choice for the smarmy yet truly tender-hearted Barry Munday.

Hope it gets a distributor soon! :o)

Weird... he was in "Little Children," where Jackie Earle Haley's character gets castrated, and he was in "Hard Candy," where his character gets castrated. And he played Raoul in "Phantom of the Opera," and in the Phantom of Manhattan book, Raoul gets shot in the testicles and becomes impotent, or something like that. Now this? This is a very strange recurring theme in his work!

and his character in Watchmen was impotent... but who's counting :)

He is all about examining the frailty of man!!

I got a feeling this could be his best yet!!
