I get to choose the last one only because I spent 4 weeks in NY and saw 7 shows while I was there! Any other year previous, and it would have been vastly reduced...
La Cage 2x
The Producers 2x
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels 2x
Spelling Bee
Light in the Piazza
The Lion King (Hippodrome in Baltimore)
Mister Roberts (Kennedy Center)
And at least 2 shows coming by the end of the year. Yay!

Posted: 7/25/05 at 5:53pmI'd estimate that I've seen between 40 and 50 shows this year, not counting return visits.

It's nothing compared to 33, but I live in Texas so I take my culture where I can get it.
(I'm saving for an NYC trip Broadway extravaganza: Spelling Bee, DRS, Piazza, Rent, Spamalot, and what was supposed to be Little Women. Perhaps I will make it Doubt instead.)

My friend who lives down the street from me has been to the city at least 8 times since april, and invited me to go every single time. unfortunately, i've either had to work, previous engagements, or the parents wouldn't let me go.
so, four, five if you count this coming week, and six if you count next.
