Posted: 3/21/12 at 10:54amI voted for Sunset but I'd love to see Song and Dance or Tell Me on a Sunday (either, although I tend to prefer Song and Dance).

Posted: 3/23/12 at 8:42amHow about none? ALW is a tired, played-out relic of another era. There is nothing timeless in his work, nor is there a single show worthy of further discussion. Let him continue to receive his royalty checks, let the endless amateur productions of his works add to his mind-boggling wealth, but please leave Broadway alone!

Posted: 3/24/12 at 2:04amWhen did it become so cool to hate Andrew Lloyd Webber? No, not all of his shows are masterpieces, but he can't have this much success with zero talent. His shows mainly suffer from poor lyrics, but his melodies are rather beautiful most of the time. He's given us some really great shows... Phantom, JCS, Evita. And although I've never seen a production of Sunset Blvd., the score is absolutely gorgeous. What about Unexpected Song?? The man can write a melody! Nobody can deny that. And lets not forget, he doesn't write his books or his lyrics, so it's not always his fault if a show of his isn't perfect. Believe me, I'm no ALW fanatic, but lets give some credit where credit is due. I don't agree with a lot of what he says or does, but he's given the Broadway community quite a bit. Not to mention, his shows have made Broadway a lot of money. In this suffering economy, commercialism isn't such a bad thing for Broadway. It's keeping it alive. Call his shows tourist traps if you will, but at least people are still seeing live theatre.

He has talent. He also has an ego which often overpowers his talent.
The same can be said for many, many people.
