Not getting defensive at all! :) Yes, there have been some negative reviews but if you read this forum, LJ, or CB (which has the most complete info on anything Rent-related) you'll know that the vast majority of reviews of this cast have been very positive.

Also, I haven't seen one city where the tickets to this tour are $100! Where are you?

I have a friend in the new tour cast. He will be playing Angel, and I am so excited to see him! I am sure you all will be pleased with his performance. He said the new cast's projected opening night is Sept 26 in Melbourne, FL. Go to rentthetour.com for more details.

That's right. They will have a week of teching in Melbourne with the remaining castmembers then open on the 26th.

i don't care how nice a person is at the stage door, or if they do one thing better than the other. mimi needs to have the full package. when rent is done right it's amazing. but when it's done poorly it's corny.

Ok...I just saw this cast...like just saw a couple days ago and while I thought the Mimi had a trouble on a few of the vocals....A FEW!!....I didn't think she was bad....the acting wasn't bad from any of the cast members....And yes everyone was really nice at the stage door...which is more then I can say from some other people...The show wasn't cheesy and I liked it!
