Another blog was posted on the Rent site this evening. It's a short video message from several of the cast members. Very cute! Check it out!

That was a nice little entry. I wonder where the videos were filmed. Anyone know?

That looked like the Gershwin. I dont know why though.

Tracie is my new favorite person. She's so nice and genuine. How can you not love her.

I was kinda bummed that the update was that desktop download, so this is definitely awesome.

Wilson's new look is interesting. Maybe I'm just shocked because I fell asleep watching Flawless last night, and this is like polar opposite. And I don't own it because of him specifically, I'm not that much of a geek. Because of him AND Daphne

I still think it's amazing that they actually care about what we think.

ditto about what orangeskittles said about them caring. i think its amazing that they thank us about as much as we thank them. especially tracie. its good to see that they really keep us and jonathan in mind, and chris will stick with that over something he feels at times.

*sigh* is it thanksgiving yet?? ill have one more thing to be thankful for this year

I want it to be Thanksgiving already.

It is amazing to think that they actually made filming and editing decisions based upon what the fans would want.

That is so freakin great.

I have never craved Turkey day so much in my life!

it IS thanksgiving already today...in Canada :P

But My god doesn't Tracie look stunning. I am so head over heals in love with her right now. I would seriously try to woo her if I thought I had any chance. What an endearing and sincer performer and person.

I keep trying to think of something appropriate to post in the blog, but everything that I'm being completely honest about makes me sound like "(ORANGESKITTLES) RENT CAST NUMBER 1 FAN EVER!" because it's so gushing.

Considering Taye and Idina weren't there, I think this might have been taped at that MS charity thing in LA the cast performed at recently.

Going by what they were wearing in the pictures from that benefit, I do believe that's where it was taped.

Anybody else excited it comes out the day before Thanksgiving? I don't have school that day... so I'll be at the movie theatre all day long!

I think I may miraculously be sick that day ... and just appear at a movie theatre with my friends. Er, what?

Adorable blog. They're all so sweet.

I have a plane flight home in the morning, but that night, I'll be at the movies with my little sister. I don't have any plans other than Thanksgiving dinner, so I'm trying to figure out how many times I can see it in that one weekend without my parents committing me.

I'm watching it (again) and Jesse and Wilson look like twins, especially with the hats. Adam and Tracie look ridiculously hot.

No, a non-entry would be just the desktop download, or the screensavers or the list of the songs on the soundtrack. This contains actual contributions from the cast. I'd rather see a video of them- even if it is just them thanking us- than an LJ icon.

They are all great and it's wonderful that they care so much for the fans !
BUT
Is it my idea, or Idina is the least involved in the whole communication thing ? Maybe she feels too big of a star to bother ? Just asking !

Greekmusicalfan, she has a LOT going on right now...with See What I Wanna See, and her record deal, and lots of other things. We haven't seen much of Taye either, so it isn't just her...but I'm sure it has nothing to do with her ego. She doesn't think of herself as a big star...at least not from what I've seen and heard.

I really wish you are right ! She is very talented and it would be a shame if she started ignoring the fans. Though I think that she is not the only one with other projects, I am sure she could find 5 seconds to do a small video. Jesse and Rosario are more busy I guess, yet they did !
