These songs remind me of something a lounge singer might sing on an off night. And that's definitely not a good thing.

I've listened to all the songs offered on the site and I tell you, this is mediocre stuff. C'mon Eden, you can do better!

Well, i think all of the songs are amazing. Eden is really giving her best on them

I think so too, about Eden, that is. I'm just a harsh critic and like a certain style of music on Broadway. But I've still not made a decision on the show yet. I'll wait for the reviews, or until I actually see it.

I think they are all very soulful...especially "Streetsinger." They have a very contemporary sound though...more than anything I've heard on Broadway...I guess it's a turnoff to some people.
They are much more impressive to hear live though...MUCH more impressive.

That's not it for me. I love me some modern Broadway. I just sincerely think that the songs released thus far aren't that good. They aren't terrible, or even bad, just not fabulous/stupendous/OMGknockyoursocksoff good like everyone is cracking it up to be. As I said, they all sound very lounge singer-esque.

Heard it, tried to like it.
The ending was nicer, but everything before it...I didn't like it very much. Delphine is right, Eden has a great voice, but the writing and music, to me, is very mediocre.
Try again, Brooklyn.

I think the lyrics are incredible. Like poetry in a way.

They ARE like poetry, Namo. Only set to music and not quite as clever or intricated.
PEACE.

Oh come on Sueleen and Namo, you know you're just jealous and bitter cause like these songs and BKLYN are like the most bestest thing to ever happen to Broadway and Eden is like the highest bestest belter of them all and ur both just 2 darn negative and just trying 2 reverse sh(R)ill. Just buy like tickets now and wait till you see it, U won't B disappointed. I mean it's not as good as BARE but it's pretty darn close 2 it.
