This isn't going to go to Broadway for YEARS and tons of revisions. It's just not the kind of show in its current state that stands a chance--maybe off-Broadway though? I think Reidel was just having a slow day and knew he could use King's name.

I don't really understand both the review Riedal mentions and the gossip he is supplying, everything seems to point to this being a good tryout. This article felt a bit sexist too, last time I checked, women were allowed to succeed and fail. Everything I've heard about this project seems really promising.

It looks really fresh to me.

Unless they change the underwhelming big mystery/payoff at the end (won't spoil it for you), B'Way will not be in its future. And, clean up the book. AND add variety to the score.

I respectfully disagree. I saw the show last week and it is really good. I loved the book and the ending. I didn't see it coming and I am very familiar with Stephen King's style so I was surprised. I agree that the score needs a bit more variety and perhaps some lyric shaping, but there are some great moments in this piece and I have to say that I think it could do quite well on Broadway with a little tweaking and shaping. We need something like this on Broadway as it is a thrilling piece in my opinion. BTW, Emily Skinner is brilliant in this.

Theater anywhere, anytime and with anyone. It's my passion.
