I think its odd that Stephanie Block sounds great in all of these clips yet the live recordings I have heard of her sound as thought she is straining and do not impress me at all. I'm sort of torn and confused!

I think Stephanie is pretty good!! but yeah sometimes sounds like shes straining! I think they did a special cast recording for some songs because they sound pefect in the video...not saying theres gonna be a cast recording of the tour.Also Kendra doesn't sound so good live.that's what I think

Was it just the trailer...thing? I dunno...I don't think I have. I saw the one from Chicago CBS and that new trailer on the tour site. ::shrugs::

I feel like they taped the whole show and keep showing clips of it. It looks amazing tho how it is taped. i hope like after all of them close they will make a copy of the show...ill probably be dead by that time tho lol

what was with that clip of morrible dancing around in a circle?, and was i the only one disappointed that we came *this* close to finally getting to HEAR garrison's version of wonderful and the guy talked over it

They did a bad editing job with the clips because they left the music in the backround so it was horribly jumpy

Was the picture quality absolutely horrible for anyone else?
I have mixed feelings about Ms. Block too. I've heard her full Defying Gravity, the Wizard and I, and No Good Deed (I think they were recorded in rehearsal) and she sounded weak and strained. But in these she sounds full and powerful. And she looks stunning in green!

You're probably referring to the Sitz Probe in Toronto, right? Those are pretty poor quality recordings. She sounds a million times better live! Those versions just do not do her justice! She blew me away BOTH times I saw her, even the second time when I knew what to expect, I was still awestruck!! :)
And yeah, that video's picture quality wasn't the greatest in the world!

Yes Ive heard her live and heard much better recordings, she is SO powerful. she has the most powerful voice out of them all...although kristy cates has a pretty powerful one...or just heavy...lol idk...i like them all :)

Grrr, every video cuts off before "Bring me down!" which is one of my favorite parts in Steph's DG. She has such power, and also so much control. Nothing is cooler than hearing her blast out the final few notes in DG and wondering if the walls of the Pantages can take it.
