Hey there peeps!
Just had a quick Q for you all. I recently was offered a part in an upcoming show at the NY Theater Barn, 'bout 2 hours out of the city north. ( I currently live in Queens.)
Anyone seen any of their shows or know anyone who has collaborated with them before? ANY oppinions? ANY thoughts? ANY advice?
Thanks!

It's pretty good. I knew someone in a show there last summer and went up to see their production of Johnny Guitar. I was impressed. It's beautiful up there too. And from what I hear, their housing for their cast is better than some others I've heard about.
Good luck!

Definatley do it! Its a great place, and yes they don't do your run of the mill summer stock fare. Its a small theatre with a supportive audience, lovely location, and a great cast house just a short walk away from the theatre! The producers are VERY sweet and the quality of the production is very very good! Johnny Guitar was awesome! As was Zombie Prom! I saw them both. This summer, I can't wait for Musical of Musicals! I know the two women who have been cast and they are both AWESOME!

Thanks guys for you feedback!
MUSICALS of MUSICALS: the MUSICAL! is the show they've asked me to do. Specifically, the part of "Willy!"
I've already responded and have told them "I'LL DO IT!"
I'm very excited! It's gonna be like going to musical theater bootcamp or something!
:)
See you there bertandrew2!
