New cast of Scoundrels

I went back to Scoundrels this weekend and saw most of the new cast. Lucie Arnaz was not there, but her understudy, whom I've seen before, was fine. I like Brian D'Arcy James as Freddy; he has a different look and approach from Norbert, but it works. Carradine was solid as Jamison; I liked him more than Lithgow but not as much as Pryce. Their chemistry seemed better in the 2nd act, and thier "Dirty Rotten Guys" was the best I've seen. However, I thought Richard Kind was the weak link. His Andre seemed shlumpy, and I don't think it compares well to Gregory Jbarra's delivery.

re: New cast of Scoundrels

I thought Richard was actually pretty good considering that he just joined the cast. I like that he does not put it on like Jbara did. He is very real in the role, which makes him look good. Ken and Brain are really getting there. For me, I think they were probably better than any other cast I have seen in that show (maybe just except Pryce).

re: New cast of Scoundrels

Well... I always love to read about DRS. Sounds like they are still having a ball and a blast re: New cast of Scoundrels I hope Richard Kind improves and grows as I am sure he will.
