Newsies Musical Sheet Music?!

Any news on when this will be released or where it is? Im looking for Seize the Day and Santa Fe from the new musical version of Newsies, not the movie. Thanks! :)

They answered this on their tumblr. All they said was that it should be out later this month.

Amazon has it listed with a July 1st release date.

But I believe that is just a place holder date. I expect it to hit digital outlets in late July with the print edition available mid to late August.

The sheets are now available digitally. The book should be available in a week or two.

If you look on Amazon, you can pre-order the book, which contains 13 songs. Publication date is given as August 1, but the site doesn't say when the book will actually ship. Cost is $11.46.

August 1st is another place holder date.

There isn't a set release date for folios like there is for DVDs etc. Basically, it's whenever each retailer gets the items and processes them as inventory.

amazon.com is rarely the first to get them in stock (because they themselves get them from specialized music retailers.

If you have the inclination, here is a link to a list of music retailers that you can check individually for availability.

I have found that J.W. Pepper generally has vocal selections up for sale before most others.

Also, not listed is Playbillstore.com. They usually are very late with their vocal selections, but they did have Book of Mormon weeks before anyone else so it's still worth checking.
