Just out of curiosity, why are there so many promoters for Newsies at TKTS? I saw like 5 people handing out flyers for it while waiting in line today. Are they desperate? I kind of know how the TKTS promotions work so I was surprised to see so many. I thought they were selling okay. You wouldn't guess it by hard they were pushing it today.
In other news, Once was even better the second time!

They're trying to keep it a very hot ticket through the offseason to help holiday sales and beyond. The show is easily meeting its nut now so they can afford a little bit of additional promotion which may be very beneficial in the long run.
If sales slow dramatically and it barely breaks even or even loses money through winter, it won't last through another summer.
