Posted: 7/2/11 at 5:00amI agree that the sound mixing for the Kennedy Center felt "subdued." It was the first time seeing the production where I felt disconnected from the stage and the actors. I certainly heard far less sniffles and audible sobs from the audience in the Kennedy Center than any other time I saw the show at the Booth. The Rock aspect of the musical was definitely reduced to a Adult Contemporary sound level at Kennedy.
