According to this article, Elicia MacKenzie is slated to be the next Mary Poppins on tour. She's had a tremendous amount of success in Toronto over the past few years - first winning the Andrew Lloyd Webber backed TV show How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? and subsequently playing Maria in The Sound of Music for a year and a half and now currently staring as Sherrie in the Toronto production of Rock of Ages.

She has a beautiful voice. I look foreward to seeing what she will bring to this role if this rumor is true.
