Ok...so I really want to see Next To Normal and I heard everyone is great in it.
Someone told me that Aaron Tveit is leaving the show in June. Is that true? And if it is then why is he and when will he be back?
Thanks

He's leaving to go do the out of town tryout of "Catch Me If You Can" in Seattle. To tell you the truth, i think if the show does go to Broadway in the fall he will not return to Next To Normal. Only if the show opens in the spring do I see him returning to the show
Aaron Tveit is leaving in June to star in the premiere of Catch Me if You Can: The Musical, in Seattle. He should be back in September.

By all indications, his last performance before (temporarily) departing seems to be the Saturday night before the Tonys (June 6), since Next to Normal doesn't have a performance on June 7.
He does plan to return in September, assuming the show is still running.
his replacement should be announced soon you think?...its already May 10...
Last I heard, CMIYC was NOT slated for the Fall season at all, but Spring '10.
They were auditioning recently for his replacement, but "we" haven't heard anything. I would think unless it's someone with experience, we won't hear about it until a week or so before Aaron leaves.
There was a rumor last week that it was Kyle Dean Massey, but who knows how true that was.
