Hey everyone! I am heading up to NY tomorrow and I'm really hoping to see Next to Normal!!! I heard they have rush seats available when the box office opens. Has anyone done this? And if so, what time did you get there (on a Saturday)?? Thanks guys!

there's a lot to read through in that thread..so basically get there between 4-6 AM if you really want to guarantee a ticket.
i rushed last week and got there about 6.20ish and was 7th in line.
It builds up, but 7.30 is really pushing it. But around 6 is more than fine to get tickets. I'm unsure if its different at weekend as i rushed on a Monday.
Hope you enjoy and get tickets ! :)

I rushed this past Monday and got there at 5. I was 5th in line. On a Sat I would suggest getting there earlier. Bring a book or some music and something to sit on as that cement gets very hard sittingthere for 5hrs. They hand out numbered bracelets/wristband things around 8-8:30 if I remember correctly.
I hope they keep rush for a long time. I saw next to normal last week and although I was in the orchestra, I would like to be able to get front row seats when I come back in october.
Many people don't like the rush system, understandably, as if you don't live really close or can get to the booth early then you're shut out of the rush.
I however, really like the rush, as it basically gets you a for sure ticket as long as you get there within a certain time, a lottery (which is what n2n may change to) is just down to luck, and i dont like the idea of going down and never getting a ticket, although it does allow other people to have a better chance of seeing the show.
i hope they keep the rush, but i fear the worst. i wonder when n2n will close, hopefully it won't be for at least a year, but i doubt the winter months will be kind.

^I agree. I understand why people don't like the rush and are getting fed up with it, but, especially with front row seats, I think if you're willing to wait it out you should get the front row tickets.
Partly because I have AWFUL luck, and have yet to win any lotto lol.
