Nick Adams Turn's 27 - Gives Birthday to Charity:Water!

Today is Nick Adams (La Cage, Chorus Line, Chicago, Guys & Dolls, Pirate Queen) 27th Birthday. He is giving up his bday to raise money to build a well in a developing country.

In Nicks Words:

For my 27th birthday, instead of receiving gifts, I wanted to give back.

So this year, I'm giving my birthday up.

I'm turning 27 years old, and instead of asking for gifts, I'm asking for $27 or more from everyone I know. It's not going to me, though. All of it is going to build freshwater wells for people in developing nations.

A billion people in the world are living without clean water - but how much are they really living? Millions contract deadly diseases from contaminated water. 45,000 people will die this week alone. The lucky ones won't, but still walk hours each day to get dirty water to give to their families.

My birthday wish this year is not for more gifts I don't need; it's to give clean and safe drinking water to some of the billion living without it. I want to make my birthday matter this year.

Fixed the link! Already got some more donations! So far we are already at $847 for the first day! It only takes $5,000 to build a well for a community of 250 that will last at least 20 years!

AMAZING.. So I was just talking to Nick and we said it will be awesome if someone donates $1,000 or more to this well... We want to see it happen today.. SO...

DONATE $1,027 or MORE to Nicks well project and...

1) We (Nick & I) will buy you a ticket to La Cage to see Nick

2) Nick will give you a private backstage tour after the show and you can meet some of the other cast members

3) The Adams Brothers (Nick & I) will take you out for dinner or a drink after the show if you like
