Day Lewis looks great...and quite dashing.

These pictures make me a feel a little better about how he'd look as Guido.

Part of me wishes people still dressed like that these days.

That looks hot. Mr. Day-Lewis, you are my new man-crush.

I like the look a lot, but for some reason I expected Carla to get off the station wearing a black dress. She looks fantastic though and Day-Lewis looks great too. Can't wait.
It's kinda disappointing they aren't shooting on location in Italy though.

Day Lewis is looking considerably older than the 39 Guido is supposed to be.

Not only that, but he looks like an emanciated Marcello Mastroianni (the original Guido Contini in the original Federico Fellini film 8 1/2).

Oh, the Guido that could have been with Javier Bardem. When he dropped out of this film, so did any ounce of interest in it.

Daniel Day Lewis looks like Skeletor playing Guido Contini. Ugh!

Huh? I think he looks fine. Cruz looks outstanding. And after seeing "Vicky Cristina and Barcelona," I just can't wait to see this movie.

Wasn't going to see it anyway.

Odd that both "Nine" and "Dreamgirls" had to wait 25 years to get film treatments. Well, not odd. Coincidental, and sad.

He looks like Woody Allen.

I chose, and my world was shaken. So what? The choice may have been mistaken. The choosing was not.

He looks fine... I guess. I can see him in the role, if they don't stick with that "nearing 40" line.

Better make it "nearing 50," or change it to something else entirely, which is certainly possible.

They said they would tailor the roles to fit the stars... so here's hoping they do that!

But if they're trying to pass him off for 39? Forget it.

EDIT: *sings*

"You be grownup, and I'll be... nine."

Hmmm...

"You be sixty, and I'll be... nine."

Nein.

Look at the bigger pictures. Yes, you can see him.

Honestly, if he would just eat a few hamburgers he might look a little younger and healthier.

He does look like he just got out of rehab. Or just "older than springtime."

...of course they could write "rehab" into the script, too.

EDIT: I've got it! He's even more delusional and vain than we think he is. He's convinced he's 39!

...when really, he's 53.

Works for me!
