Do any of you know about this musical! I had try outs for it monday and I'm waiting to get my call back- a lot of people said that they think I'm going to get the role of Nanette... and I really hope I do- is there any advice from anyone on here to tell me what I can practice- any dancing or musically wise?? Your knowledge would be very much appreciated!
Thank you
Natalie.

Posted: 11/15/06 at 11:32pmI just finihed doing it, played Tom. I can tell you that I have never had so much fun doing a show in my life, Its so corney but we had a great time. But what I think is so important is to have the 9 leads as strong as hunamly possible. If you want to play Nanette just have a great soprano. I mean just have fun at the audtion, I will send you a PM with some audition tips, I dont want to bore people on this board.

Oh thank you soo much for the help all! i'm really excited! During my audition my voice was right on and sounded good- (which is odd for me to say- I never think i sound good lol) But I had a great time!
They called me back and I'm going in tonight for something- they haven't really given me the fullest extent- But I'm excited... I'm really hoping to get the lead!

Posted: 11/16/06 at 12:18pmThe Babe Ruth story has been geneally disproven. Yes, the owner of the Red Sox was a producer of NO NO NANETTE, and yes, Ruth was sold to the Yankees roughly the same time, but there is no proof that the decicsion to sell Ruth's contract had anything to do with rasing money to invest in NO NO NANETTE. It's pretty much just a coincidence.

Best known amongst sports fans perhaps.

Sad day!
I didn't get the lead!
I'm Winnie from Washington though-
I suppose I should be happy I got a part! But I'm still sad because I wanted that role of Nanette soo bad!
Stupid schedule!

Winnie is one of the best parts of the show - you won't be disappointed - the three happies get some major laughs.
