Nobody at St. Louis Wicked Lottery?

Apparently they didn't even have enough people to draw names the other day, they just awarded who showed up! My friend from Kansas City should be trying her luck today so I'll let you know if she tells me it's any better than it was yesterday.
C'mon people... what's up with that?

Well, the Fox is way downtown, so it's not easily accessible for a jaunt down to enter a lottery. There's also really not much to do around there while you wait. You can't really get down there without a car (the bus goes that way, but public transportation isn't really utilized around here).
Also, for all the publicity the show's been getting here, the lottery hasn't really been advertised all that much.

You're welcome, Popular. Just think of me as your go-to guy for all things St Louis.
I actually thought about going to try for the lotto tonight, cause I had a craptastic day, but I've got actual tickets for Tuesday, so I figured I'd just wait till then.

Posted: 11/20/05 at 6:11pmI didn't know that. Hopefully she'll be in on Tuesday. I saw Jenna in Chicago and thought she was great, but I'd really like to see Stephanie in the role.

Posted: 11/20/05 at 6:13pmYeah, she's been sick lately, and sounds like the traveling and performance schedule, not to mention change in climates and air have made it hard for her to fully recover.

Do they have today off? I'm really hoping to see Steph on Wednesday but considering it is the 2nd show of the day and the day before Thanksgiving I am not really hopeful.
I wish I lived closer to go to the lottery. We are traveling 3 hours to see the show..St Louis is the closest "big" city to us. You know, maybe I should just go up there and try. It is just a long drive if you don't make it in. But if you can get in...Do you guys think the lottery will pick up? I could try for next weekend before they head out of town.

There is no lotto for DC. The Kennedy Center has a strict no-rush policy. Your best bet would be SRO, except that SRO tickets are sold in advance (phone the BO) and may already be sold out.

The Kennedy Center does sell day-of half price tickets to students, seniors, military personal, low income, and disabled, but obviously only for shows that aren't sold out. They were doing it for The Producers two summers ago when that wasn't sold out. But it depends on the show, The Glass Menagerie that same summer wasn't sold out yet wasn't selling half price tickets. Also, they set aside a number (I'm not sure how many) of half price tickets to sell in advance of the first show. It won't work for Wicked obviously, but here's a link if you're interested for other shows.
I wasn't aware that SRO was available ahead of time, but apparently it is, I have to get on that.
