Well, I didn't get to see my first Broadway show until I was 18 but before that every year they bus the grade school and middle school kids one day a year to the high school in town to see the high schoolers perform there spring musical. That was my favorite day of the year (fav week when I was in high school and performing it the show :) ) we started going in second grade and I can name every show I saw from the first one in second grade to the last one I performed in my senior year. I can also remember some of the sets and stage form all of them (is that sad? lol) but I loved every second of it and theater is pretty much my life now.
I don't so much agree with parents taking babies to shows when I saw Beauty and the best a few moth ago there was a one year old a few row in front of me, that's to young but once they are old enough to remember it I think see shows as a kid is important even if your kid gonna be the next big sports player shows can be fun for all.
The only play bill I am missing is Grease my first show and Annie get your gun (with Reba) my third show, the Footloose (2nd show) play bill I have lol.
