Has anyone done Noises Off rush yet? I am hoping to rush on Wednesday but I am not sure how early (if at all) I should get there

I have not, so sorry I can not be of more help. However, have you thought about HipTix? If you're between the ages of 18 - 35, you can get two $25 tickets to the show..and no waiting outside the theatre! Free to join, too. Link here: http://www.roundabouttheatre.org/Shows-Events/HipTix.aspx

I rushed when Andrea Martin was out. I Was seated in the boxes. There were many empty seats on the orchestra and I bought my ticket 40 minutes before curtain. I would recommend avoiding the boxes at all costs
I was looking to get a HipTix for a Wednesday night in March, and they were already sold out! After taking a quick glance at some other dates, it appears that they're sold out for most other dates as well. I'm really kicking myself now and hoping for a short extension. I know that may not be possible, though, with the next production coming in.

If you make a $50 donation, you will be a HIPTIX Gold member and have access to better seats (though the rear mezz at the American Airline is wonderful seating) to this and the other Roundabout shows.. May be worth it for you.
Thanks for the suggestion. Is there any chance you know what availability tends to be like for HipTix Gold? In other words, are the seats offered set aside similar to what's done for the general policy? If so, does that allotment tend to sell out as well? I only ask because I don't live near the city and generally only have a handful of dates to pick from when I want to see a show.
If you put in the code GOLD you will see the availability :) For the Gold membership, they offer side orchestra and all of the mezz.

Thank you! The number of seats they offer is awesome, so I plan on signing up. Given that I was also hoping to catch She Loves Me and the Robber Bridegroom, it's a great deal.

I just looked into HipTix Gold and it is a 75 dollar donation (not a 50 as stated above), but still definitely worth it if you plan on seeing multiple shows (which I do as I plan on seeing atleast Noises Off and She Loves Me). Thanks for the info everyone!
Whoops, I'm sorry for the confusion! It's been awhile since I've had to pay for it.

How is the mezzanine at the American Airlines? In pictures I've seen it appears that a structural bar is in front of every seat in every row. Doesn't that obstruct the stage?

The bar doesn't obstruct the stage at all. Because it's such an intimate theatre, even the last rows of the mezzanine offer a good view.
It is probably my favorite mezzanine, honestly. There are only six or seven rows and you're very close. They're wonderful seats.

I do wish the mezzanine had a center aisle, however. I hate being stuck in the dead center, especially if I need to get out to a bathroom at intermission.
Just out of curiosity (since I am past the Hiptix eligibility age): is the $75 fee a one-time donation or is it recurring?

I've sat up there for several productions and loved it, even at my (lack of) height, the rail was never an issue.
A a friend of mine got rush tickets and they were in the rear mezz, but this was the first week of previews so it may have changed since then.
So a few other (good) items about Hiptix Gold:
1) The first year I joined, a couple years back, they also threw in (and shipped for free) a cast album of a previous Roundabout show, for a first time member (so there's $20ish+ right there in value). Don't know if that's still a thing but it can't hurt to find out!
2) If you are lucky enough to itemize your taxes, the $75 is fully tax deductible (and if still applicable, they didn't tell me I had to deduct the cost of the CD! :) )
3) Lastly, and most importantly, the $75 buys you a year of BUYING tickets (the up to 2 per show, any seat other than center orch) - not just attending. So if you play your cards right, as your year approaches the expiration date, there may be 4-5 months worth of shows still currently on sale in the future. So those are applicable too on that first $75! You could really get 20 tickets @ $25 for a one time $75 donation, get good seats (HUGE difference in Studio 54, the others aren't bad without it) and not have to worry about normal Hiptix sell outs. So that also means if you want to continue it, you actually won't have to pay it each year - probably averages once every 18 months or so. Truly a great deal for heavy (attending) young theatergoers.
